About CC: All the sims come included with the CC you see pictured (except my defaults, obv), sodon't forget to install with the CleanInstaller! That way you can remove anything you don't want. :D

About Usage: Pretty much free range! I mean, of course I'd rather you didn't upload them unchanged and claimed them as your own...but beyond that, as far as I care, you can dye their skin blue and change their gender and marry them into your Goopy Gilscarbo homosexual-only legacy. :P Use them in contests or throw them into the ocean, I'm pretty much down with whatever. However! I do have one request, and that is that you give me a link so I can see pictures. :D

If you could please comment to let me know if/who you downloaded, that would be fantastic. But if you don't, I won't cry or anything. :P

Welcome to the first update of the Behr legacy! This is going to be a Pixel Trade, Awesimsauce, Round Robin legacy! Now, casual readers don't have to go and read all the rules if you don't feel like it, chances are it'll make enough sense without reading them

I will be advertising my updates in legacychallenge, and pixel_trade. For each generation of the legacy, I'll post a collection of links in this journal, and also to thesims2, awesimsauce and roundrobin_sims. We don't want to overdo it. This way your flist only gets spammed once a month or so. :P

I am generation blue, which means that all the people in my generation (founder and children) will be named after blue paint swatches by Behr paints. Since this is the starting generation, that's all that means! ^_^

But enough rambling! You want pictures! Excitement!

Okay! A few more things, guys! First off, I don't know what comes after Gamma. Secondly, Behr as a surname it is!

Now, probably most of us have all ready picked out names, however! simkittensims brings for a good point; we should probably be picking names for the generation to follow us. So, I'm blue generation. I should be picking names for Gen 2, which is brown. This could get confusing, but is technically the right way to do it.

So, do we want to do it right, or easy? :P

And lastly, I am going to steal lauriethemuppet's rule for the RoundRobin, which means that you have to read and comment on all the other entries in the legacy in order to participate, to really make this a group activity. Now, obviously you don't have to leave a comment on EVERY SINGLE post, but if you did, it would make the author in question very happy. And you also MUST vote in every heir poll. Those you AREN'T allowed to miss. :P

Final Result:
Okay, so it was a little difficult to tell what everyone was voting for at times, but it seems like we voted on a compromise, which is to suggest names to the person ahead of you in line.

But I'm going to be a jerk and veto that, because Nett brought up a good point: who is going to abuse the children of the black generation? What about other, similar challenges? So here is my proposition:

Your CHILDREN are considered "your" generation. The heir that you receive will be named and themed according to the gen that they were born in (though you can of course make them over to fit your colour scheme, if you'd like!). Nett will get a blue-named heir, Kat will get a brown-named heir, etc. That means you'll have a choice:

- There will be an interim between the challenges, where the heir from Gen brown searches for a spouse and then has babies, and the children resume with the challenge for gen black.
- You can continue the challenge of the heir you were given (when you receive heir Brown, you make sure they live only off of things they dig up) until they have children, at which point you begin the challenge for gen black.
- You immediately switch to your gen's challenge. So when you receive heir brown, you immediately begin fulfilling their fears only, and continue to abuse the entire family until you ship out heir black. :P

Any way we do this, it will be complicated, due to the nature of the challenge. However, I think that this is going to be the least confusing way of doing things. And of course you're welcome to work things out amongst yourselves regarding naming, etc.

Okay, so all who are involved; some of us were in chat on AIM and were discussing choices of names for the legacy. Since the Awesimsauce has a naming theme attached (colour), we were thinking of paint companies. Eventually those of us in chat agreed on Behr, since it's a cute surname, and because their paint swatches have adorably usable names.

So, what do you guys think? Any other suggestions, or is Behr okay?

Okay, so because I am susceptible to peer pressure, I have fallen for Nett's wiley suggestion that I start a round robin legacy. The idea appeals to me because, well, frankly, I LOVE playing gen 1 of a legacy, and then get really bored. >.> SO. This seems the obvious solution!

This legacy is going to be a pixel_trade legacy, and also an Awesimsauce legacy.

Edit: Okay, guys, since this is apparently such a popular idea, there's not gonna be enough room for everyone who wants to join.

Now, I realise this could potentially be simsecret's new wankfest, but I am going to give the remaining spots to people who I know better, so I know for certain they won't go AWOL on us. If you don't get picked, it's not a personal thing, it's just that I don't know you that well. But believe me when I say this is kinda painful for me, because you guys are all awesome friends to me. :(

I'm adding one extra gen because I actually came up with a decent unofficial idea for it, but I never really understood the point of making a roundrobin more than ten generations, instead of just starting a new one. By the time you get to gen 15, the Sims 4 is gonna be out! :P If you DO want to make your own, there's actually a community for it, and I think there are almost enough people in the comments to make a whole new one.

If you ARE on the list: A few things! If you don't like your colour gen, feel free to switch with a willing partner! If you don't have a required EP for your challenge, let me know and we can probably work things out. This isn't for rule-naziing, it's for fun!

Now, some ground rules: You MUST post your first update within ONE week of receiving the heir from the last gen. From that point, you must update once per week (exceptions will be negotiated on a case by case basis) or the same heir that was sent to you will be sent to the next person on the list. I don't want to be so strict about it, of course I understand that real life can get in the way, but I've seen waaay too many roundrobins die because of one person.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I'm giving myself a break this week. Not feeling quite motivated to update, because I recently picked up Monster Hunter again and I have to write my D&D campaign, and I just want to BUILD EVERY HOUSE.

But on the bright side, I've got two houses about finished, should have them uploaded in a semi-timely fashion (ie, within a month or two).

ROFL, I was wondering when this would pop up. Well, I could certainly explain wtf to you, but chances are you know. Hopefully you weren't one of the 57483534 people who encouraged me. :P Assuming this one thing hasn't ~ruined the whole legacy~ for you, it may comfort you to know that my self sim is...uh, no longer with us. Frankly, she got totally obnoxious and I just got sick of her.
